This is the least certain number in the generator. Body sizes are published specs; camera openings are not, and nothing here has been measured against a real phone. Put a ruler on yours and type it in — the preview redraws, and the line above is the command line that reproduces it. A plateau is centred, so only the top margin places it.

Carry it up the sides Do not mirror

The case prints back face down, so the artwork goes into the g-code flipped. Turning the mirror off makes the finished case read backwards — which is occasionally what you want, and otherwise is the mistake you only find once it is off the plate. The preview above is always shown the way you will hold it.

Purge per colour change

Every tool change flushes the old colour out of the nozzle into a purge tower. Artwork on the back plate changes colour twice and never again, so the tower is a couple of layers tall. Carrying it up the sides changes colour on every layer, and the tower can end up heavier than the case.

Test fit — rim only, no artwork

Keeps the walls and a 7 mm rim of back plate around the outline and around every hole, and leaves the middle open. Every dimension that can be wrong is still in it, for about half the filament and none of the purge. Print this one first.

The whole case is five to fifteen seconds of work.

The g-code is the painted case, ready to print and not to be re-sliced — the colours live in the toolpath, which is the whole point. The 3MF keeps the colours: the back plate is cut into inlays, one solid per filament, so your slicer opens one object with a part per colour. The STL is the shape on its own — a single colour, because an STL cannot hold more. Neither carries the purge tower or the tool-change ordering; none of that is geometry. A test fit has neither, because leaving the middle of the back plate unfilled is a thing g-code can say and a solid cannot.
